About Positive Empowerment Coaching
I’m Chiara Richards, the founder of Positive Empowerment Coaching, where I specialise in supporting neurodivergent individuals, their families, and inclusive organisations to overcome challenges and create meaningful, sustainable change.
My approach blends coaching psychology, lived experience, and deep empathy. I am a certified coach, psychometric assessor, and hold a BSc in Psychology. I’m a professional member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Association for Coaching (AC), working to the highest ethical and professional standards. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, am fully insured, and am registered with the ICO to ensure GDPR-compliant data handling, giving clients full confidence in a safe and responsible practice.
My passion for this work is both professional and deeply personal. I was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia as an adult, and I’m also a parent to neurodivergent children. This dual perspective gives me a rich, real-world understanding of the many ways neurodiversity shapes identity, communication, and emotional well-being, both at home and in the workplace.
I founded Positive Empowerment Coaching in 2024 to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for people to be fully seen, understood, and supported in ways that work for them. Whether you’re a teen or adult navigating neurodivergence, a parent looking for practical support, or a business ready to create a more inclusive culture. I’m here to help.

Who I Work With
Through Positive Empowerment Coaching, I provide:
-
Coaching for neurodivergent teens and adults
-
Support and psychoeducation for parents and carers
-
Neurodiversity training and consultancy for workplaces
-
Access to Work-funded coaching to help individuals thrive professionally
My work is inclusive of all neurodivergent identities, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other cognitive differences — both diagnosed and self-identified.
A Collaborative Approach
While I run my own practice, I also collaborate with like-minded professionals and organisations who share my commitment to creating more inclusive and neuro-affirming spaces. These partnerships allow me to contribute to wider training and consultancy projects, expand my reach, and work systemically to support meaningful change.
Whether working independently or as part of a broader team, I remain focused on delivering coaching and training that is practical, person-centred, and rooted in respect for neurodivergent experience.

Why I Do This Work
My passion for neurodiversity inclusion comes from both personal and professional experience. I’ve seen first-hand the strengths, resilience, and innovation that neurodivergent people bring, and I’ve also witnessed the frustration and isolation that can come when environments don’t adapt to different ways of thinking, feeling, and processing the world.
My goal is to create spaces where people feel understood, valued, and equipped with the tools to navigate life on their terms.
About Me
Spending time outdoors with my dog Red, exploring the river and immersing myself in nature, empowers me. It’s where I find clarity, recharge my energy, and reconnect with what truly matters, helping me show up as my best self in life and work.
This is the power I bring to my coaching, helping my clients find what energises them, gain clarity, and step confidently into their full potential.
I’d love to know, how do you reconnect and empower yourself?
